          How to Take KERENDIA

          It’s important to take KERENDIA as prescribed.

          KERENDIA is a once-daily oral tablet. You should swallow the tablet whole.

          If you are unable to swallow a whole tablet, KERENDIA may be crushed and mixed with water or soft foods such as applesauce immediately prior to use and taken orally.

          It is important that you avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice as it may increase KERENDIA levels in your blood.

          Take KERENDIA as prescribed and do not start or stop any medicine, including your diabetes and high blood pressure medication, before talking with your healthcare provider. Check with your healthcare provider or pharmacist if you’re not sure.

          If you miss a dose of KERENDIA, take your prescribed dose as soon as you remember before the next scheduled dose. Do not take 2 doses on the same day to make up for a missed dose.

          Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, salt substitutes, vitamins, and herbal or potassium supplements. KERENDIA may affect the way other medicines work, and other medicines may affect how KERENDIA works.

          Common Side Effects

          The most common side effects of KERENDIA include:

          • Potassium levels in your blood being higher than normal (hyperkalemia)
          • Blood pressure being lower than normal (hypotension)
          • Sodium levels in your blood being lower than normal (hyponatremia)
          • Worsening of kidney function was also included in patients with heart failure

          How to Store KERENDIA

          Store KERENDIA at room temperature between 68 °F and 77 °F (20 °C and 25 °C).

          What is KERENDIA?

          KERENDIA (finerenone) 10mg, 20mg, 40mg tablets is a prescription medicine used to:

          • reduce the risk of death due to cardiovascular disease, hospitalization for heart failure, and urgent heart failure visits in adults with heart failure with left ventricular ejection fraction (HF LVEF) of ≥40%, when the heart may pump normally, but may not fill properly

          Important Safety Information

          Do not take KERENDIA if you:
          • Are allergic to any of the ingredients in KERENDIA
          • Take certain medications called CYP3A4 inhibitors. Ask your healthcare provider if you are not sure if you are taking any of these medications
          • Have problems with your adrenal glands
          What are the possible side effects of KERENDIA?

          KERENDIA may cause serious side effects, including:

          • High potassium levels in your blood (hyperkalemia). Your healthcare provider will check your potassium level before and during treatment with KERENDIA
          • Worsening of kidney function in patients with heart failure. Your healthcare provider will measure your kidney function before and during treatment with KERENDIA

          The most common side effects of KERENDIA include hyperkalemia (high potassium level in your blood), hypotension (low blood pressure), and hyponatremia (low sodium level in your blood). Worsening of kidney function was also included in patients with heart failure.

          Before you take KERENDIA, tell your healthcare provider about all your medical conditions, including if you:
          • Have high potassium levels in your blood (hyperkalemia) or take medications that may increase potassium levels in your blood
